It Started With a Simple “Yes”
Helping Hands with Helping Hearts began long before it ever had a name.
Over 20 years ago, Gordy and Ronda Neuert saw firsthand how deeply the lack of reliable transportation affected individuals and families in their community. As owners of Provision Automotive, they regularly met single mothers and families facing impossible choices—trying to decide between repairing a vehicle, paying rent, buying groceries, or simply making it to work.
One moment, in particular, changed everything.
A single mother came into their shop needing major repairs she couldn’t afford. Without transportation, she risked losing not only her job, but the stability her family depended on. Gordy repaired her vehicle free of charge and filled her trunk with groceries.
That one act of compassion became the beginning of something much bigger.
What started quietly through their automotive shop eventually grew into Helping Hands with Helping Hearts—a nonprofit ministry rooted in faith, compassion, and the belief that reliable transportation can truly change someone’s life.

Over the years, Gordy and Ronda have learned that reliable transportation impacts far more than someone’s ability to get from one place to another.

For Gordy and Ronda, this ministry is simply a way to use the gifts God has given them to serve others faithfully.
Meet Gordy & Ronda
Gordy and Ronda Neuert are the founders of Helping Hands with Helping Hearts and the owners of Provision Automotive.
For more than 30 years, they have served their community through the automotive industry—building relationships, helping families, and using their skills to care for others in practical ways.
Their faith remains at the center of everything they do. They believe God has given them the gifts, resources, and opportunity to serve others well, and this ministry is simply an extension of that calling.
When they’re not at the shop or serving through the ministry, they enjoy spending time with family, loving on their grandbabies, camping, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors together.
For them, this work is more than a nonprofit.
It is an honor, a responsibility, and a calling.
